On 28th February and 1st March Bansko will host the FIS ski women’s world cup. All Balkan Holidays customers who are in resort during this period will be given free tickets to watch the event. The fact that Bansko have been awarded this prestigious event is testimony to its excellent facilities and skiing.

The draw has thrown up some mouth-watering clashes between the emerging forces in women's youth football. A tantalizing fixture between Brazil and England on October 30 will kick things off in Wellington as the city hosts Group D also containing Korea Republic and African champions Nigeria. This will arguably be the most hotly contested group.
