The ski resort of Bansko is now rated as one of the top ski resorts in Europe and is being compared to the likes of Ischgl in the Austrian Alps. With the 40million Euro investment in the infrastructure of the resort, the price of land here is reaching 20% more year on year and is expected to become the most expensive region in Bulgaria.
It is also proud to be able to host one of the future European Women’s Championships in Alpine skiing and the European Biathlon Championship and will undoubtedly bring Bansko to the forefront of the sporting calendar.
Despite the ever increasing prices and the over demand which is encouraging developers to build more and more, affordability is still very much within reach, in fact its so low as to attract the first time buyers who are missing out on the UK property ladder.
With more and more holidaymakers looking for adventure, Paul Cooper, Director of Principal International, one of the UK’s leading overseas property investment experts says “Bansko makes for a wise choice for the overseas property investor and first time buyer”
Principal International still have a number of properties available in the resort, and with the new ski lifts that reach 2800 meters and the 65 kilometres of marked ski runs, Bankso is sure to appeal as a stylish and modern resort.
With many young people believing that owning an overseas property is a dream they may never fulfil, overseas property experts and finance experts are advising them to look further a field. With the UK prices pushing the 20-30 something’s out of the market, Principal International can offer studio apartments for as little as circa £28,000.
